I installed Kubuntu LTS on a friend’s computer, and upgraded to 23.04 because I experienced a few bugs in the wayland session. I should note she has an Nvidia GPU (1660 with latest proprietary nvidia driver). The previous bugs are gone in 5.27, but now xwayland seems to not work. e.g. when I run chromium or brave a window ‘frame’ opens up but nothing is shown inside it, and if I try to launch a game on steam the game crashes.
I did a search on this issue but nothing came up. Just wondering if someone has encountered this problem before / if there is a solution.
