A search bar needed for Elisa playlist

Hi Community!

I really like to use Elisa to listen to some music in my library. It has a search bar in its library. However it does not have one for the playlist.

I think it should, because a playlist may have hundreds of tracks and the user may wanna change the track at some moment. So the user will have to look up all tracks to find the one he/she wants to play. This is not a good user experience.

You may suggest using search bar in the library but it is not the same. When the search bar is used in the library and if the filtered track play button pressed, then the current play list will be replaced with the filtered track and this is not what we want.

Change my mind.

Hi! Just so you know, there is an existing feature request for Elisa, in the KDE Bugtracking System, for this exact topic: 439907 – Add filter/search field for the playlist
