Many people use laptops rather than desktops. Therefore, there is no way to adjust colors, saturation, gamma, or contrast using the physical buttons on the monitor. A way to change this via software would be a major advance. For example, for me, this is the main reason why I haven’t fully migrated to Plasma yet. The colors on my laptop monitor are very dull and washed out compared to Windows, where the Intel driver allows me to change the screen saturation via software.
