I tried to move a widget from one bar to another but failed and it got stuck somewhere.
The problem is that I don’t see where and when I try to put another one, it warns me that one already exists.
How do I delete the one I can’t see now?

Interesting…
In KDE 5 when adding a widget that’s already there it would show the current number of that widget, but not seeing it in KDE 6.
What widget are you trying to remove?
What version of KDE?
I see the number for it but I don’t see the widget. In the end I had to delete the configuration directory
Good info.
Show what you deleted for future reference.
ok, but this is not a solution
rm ~/.config/plasma*
For reference the config file is here:
~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc
You can either change the position of the applet there or remove the faulty applet.
In any case, I recommend backing the file up before you touch it.
Cannot understand how this works because I tried, for a test, to remove this
from here
but it didn’t work
