Accidental removal of Flatpak Libreoffice writer in kmenuedit

So i accidentally removed the entry in kmenuedit and now it’s forever in hidden unless i every time after reinstalling the app move it there from the hidden folder.

I think that kmenuedit is bit scuffed in design cause it moves removed entries or edited and removed entries to the hidden folder.

If i edit the app to lets say have environment variable, it won’t automatically remove the entry when uninstalling software. So i have to remove those entries manually. When i do that i will after a reinstall get no application menu entries for the app because those are hidden.

Is there any possible way to restore the thing entirely? I don’t really like extra manual work when installing apps.

Found out that you can restore it. Thank god.

in the menu editor, under settings, configure menu editor

there is a show hidden entries check box.

this will reveal the .hidden category folder where you can find the item and use cut to move it to the category where you want it to appear in the menu… be sure the Hidden Entry box on the item is unchecked.

then be sure to save your changes.

to remove the .hidden category folder again, go back to configure and uncheck the box

be sure to save again before exiting.
