I absolutely love Haruna for its simplicity and thoughtful functionality.
I’d like to see action mappings for mouse side back/forward buttons in mouse settings.

welcome… you are encouraged to take up such a feature request with the author directly, which may get you a faster answer.
you can, of course, reassign those mouse buttons via the desktop so they they are universal to all programs.
if you are running wayland, you can simply click on the desktop and type “mouse” to bring up the settings page where you can rebind those extra buttons to whatever keyboard shortcuts you can make up, and then change the shortcuts in haruna to match.
if you are still running X11 you will need to use a 3rd party program like “input remappper” to rebind the buttons, and set it to autostart when you log in.
