Affinity Suite issue under KWin - can't dock panels

Hello all,

Has anyone been running the new Affinity by Canva for Windows via Wine? Most everything works fine except for one caveat that if you click and drag undock one of the panels on the right it becomes impossible to dock them again.

If I run winecfg and uncheck ‘Allow the window manager to control the windows’ the panel moving functionality works, but it also has the side effect of no longer being able to drag files into the app to open it nor do things like Ctrl+Click to zoom.

The tickbox option name made me think it’s a KDE issue rather than Wine or the source app itself, so to test my suspicion I spun up a Fedora VM and indeed, all the features work under Gnome.

(Actually, if someone could point me to a good inpainting tool that works offline and isn’t a web app I’d appreciate it, since that’s the only reason I have this installed.)

I see this same issue. It’s a pain changing the setting in winecfg each time I want to adjust docks, but it’s good to find out that I can do that (thank you!)

Thanks for the workaround for making this work in KDE. It was a life saver for me. I hope we can get this sorted out.
