After update to KDE Plasma 6 random freezes for 4-10 seconds

roughly all that shows up in the system logs. I should note that this happens in both wayland and x11 evenly so its not either of their faults.

I am also experiencing these problems, my system looks like this:

Operating System: KDE neon 6.0
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0
Qt Version: 6.6.2
Kernel Version: 6.5.0-21-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz
Memory: 23.3 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® HD Graphics 530
Product Name: 20FXS0C400
System Version: ThinkPad T460p

It also has an Nvidia card but I honestly don’t know how I could check how it is configured - also because of drivers. Anyway, the problem is quite frustrating as it happens quite often every few minutes or so :pensive:

I’m on Plasma 6.0.5 and the issue still appears for me.
Should I reopen the bug report?

Same here. The linked bug is referring to a problem with intel CPUs, i have a Ryzen 5…what CPU are you using?

I’ve got a similar issue, wherein the pointer intermittently freezes indefiniitely until a button is clicked. This was just after installing KDE to try it out, its annoying enough that I’ll have to go back to gnome unless there’s some fix.
