About the only thing I miss from Quicken is the auto filling of the Category when a payee is entered during transaction entry.
Skrooge got this feature a while back, but seems only to do this if the Category is blank when the Payee is entered. If there’s a way to have the Category always updated when the Payee is entered I’ve not found it.
Is there any way to do this? I recently updated from version 2 to 26 (yeah, I know) but this still seems to be the behavior.

this is probably not exactly like in Quicken, but there is a quick edit menu item, which by default has key shortcut F10.
It fills all unlocked inputs for transaction based on active input.
You can lock input from quick editting by double click in it.
It will also lock if it is active and you use quick edit.
Filled data are based on previous transactions with the same data as in your active input field.
I hope this is understandable/satisfactory enough.
