Annoying aspect of Dolphin icons

I’m new to KDE and have across a really annoying aspect of Dolphin. You can change folder icons, which is great, but they then get obscured but little flags representing the contents, making icon changes pointless.

Is there any way of stopping these flags? I’m on Ubuntu Studio with KDE Plasma 6.6.5.

Click on the hamburger menu in the top right, choose Configure > Configure Dolphin…

Navigate in Interface click on the Previews tab and start unselecting previews.

Really depends on size you’ve got your icons set at.
