Any ETA for headless remote access under wayland?

As the title says, Is there a way for my remote service (rustdesk, sunshine, RDP) to get access to my SDDM first login screen without the need for an autologin setting. I would really like to be able to provide my clients with a standardized way for them to connect to their machine remotely after they trigger WOL.

I am not talking about the lock screen of an active user session but the SDDM login screen of a fresh boot that has no active user sessions.

if there is no current standardized way is there a protocol being developed for this exact problem or anything really? I find this a bit crazy as this is a very important feature.

I’m pretty sure its wip (and i think it was mentioned in the latest this week in plasma) but progress is slow. I think there is a wayland protocol for it being developed but i don’t know it’s status. I’d love to have this too so i can use my quest as a monitor without 10 minutes of setup every time.
