Aurorae text shadows and halos have been broken for a very long time

This bug was reported in 2012!

Aurorae doesn’t honor text shadow and halo settings: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=311919

Is there any plan to fix this or will Union solve this?
