I had an issue with my displays since I started using CachyOS with the Plasma KDE desktop. Everything is fine until I switch from triple display to single displays. My Mouse loses focus on the in-game menu after the first click. Regardless of what I do, it doesn’t work after the first click. I just tried it this morning in Cyberpunk in the Heroic Launcher, and it forces my mouse to stay on the right edge of the screen, even when I try to drag it back. It just remains there. I can tab through the menu, but the mouse cursor won’t move at all from the right edge. Someone suggested that I check the in-game display setting to make sure it was the correct display. Out of frustration, I tried checking the resolution in the system menu and switching between resolutions if that was the issue. It wasn’t, and I let it revert to my 1440p setting. Everything finally worked! The Stream games I used to lose focus in now see and work with the mouse, for example, Baldur’s Gate 3, Lonestar, and Balatro. All my displays are exactly the same 2K Omen 27i, with the same settings across all 3. I’m just happy that it finally works on a single display setup.
