Hello,
I’m running Fedora 42 on an Lenovo Legion with Onboard AMD & NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti dedicated gpu. My problem is that the screen keeps staying black after resuming from sleep, but I think it hasn’t to do with the sleep/hibernate thing because the error also happens when I only use “turn off screen when laptop lid is closed” in the settings.
I searched the internet and tried some things like setting “mem_sleep_default=deep“ to /etc/default/grub or adding nvidia power management options to “/etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-power-management.conf” but nothing helped.
It is frustrating. Everytime I try to use Linux on a desktop/Laptop something is f*cked up. Either the touchpad isn’t working, the power management doesn’t work or a screen is staying black.
The fedora system is up to todays date, no proprietary driver is installed. I cannot find anything in the journalctl or dmesg that tells me anything.
Do you have any ideas what I can do?
Best regards,
