Broken volume control of my default bluetooth audio device

Hi everyone,

the KDE Neon volume control for my Bluetooth amplifier TEAC AI-301DA is broken again after a release update from V 20. to 22. and now from 22. to 24. Last time I spent hours searching for a solution without success, only a new installation could solve the problem. Now on v. 24.x the same error, sound works, but I can no longer adjust the volume. Popup appears and shows every volume step, but the volume is always 100%, unless you go to 0%, then it is muted.

When I switch on my Bluetooth headphones, the sound and the volume control work fine, so it looks to me like there is a problem with the volume control of the default audio profile.

Could someone please give me the right tip on where to look to solve the problem, because I don’t want to reinstall again. Thanks

I’m still consistantly having this issue as Feb 22. I’m using the CMF Buds Pro, and it will have this issue after a while of being connected to the computer or sometimes when going out of range and then coming back into range. It’s super inconsistant and annoying to do but can usually be fixed temporarily by disconnecting then reconnecting the device.
