Buying security priced in different currency than account charges account incorrectly

I set up an investment with a brokerage account in GBP and bought a security priced in EUR (EUR 1 = GBP 0.85). The brokerage account was incorrectly charged by the amount of the security purchase as if it were valued in GBP instead of EUR. So I bought 100 shares at EUR 1 but was charged GBP 100 instead of GBP 85. Is this not supported or a bug?

Which version of KMyMoney did you use? You can find this information in the Help/About KMyMoney dialog.

Yours might be completely different, don’t worry though.
