Can I customize icons in qt apps or/and processes?

So I`m on Arch and decided to change icon theme to custom. However some of secondary icons used in qt-based apps (like System settings or tokodon) and close button in task switcher have very poor quality. I`m aware of KDE Icon Explorer and tried to change them through it, but this icon needed in other apps, so I am thinking there probably is some kind of document in one of those app`s directory that shows which icon from iconpack it should choose, so I could change it to certain one from icon pack. Am I thinking right? Where are designs for apps and processes are contained?

Kind of a vague question.Guess you’ll have to use your imagination mostly. Btw, what has a close button to do with an icon theme in general? If you’re talking icon stuff like in overview and what not, it’s pretty much hardcoded and would require some serious delving into the codes. Other than that, you can change pretty much any icon for desktop apps ( not all though, well..)

Hardly any of those icons is included in the custom icon theme, they’re home made.

See?

Thanks for response! I just thought may be every app with qt had some sort of config file in it`s directory, where all links to every icon is placed or something, but Ok!
