Hi! KDE Plasma Wayland cannot register clicks on the touchpad (where I actually press on the touchpad and I hear a clicking noise), but it can register taps if I enable tap-to-click. I haven’t been able to test on other desktop environments as I’m using KDE Neon (who heavily discourage using other desktop environments because they’re likely to break), and I don’t have enough disk space to install another distribution.
I’ve been experiencing this issue for a while, and unfortunately have been ignoring it. I am using a Lenovo IdeaPad 15IAU7 (I’ll try to figure out the touchpad model later) on KDE Neon, which I updated around 2024-Aug-19 (I have been experiencing the issue since fall 2023, however I hadn’t reported it until now).
