Hello, I’ve tried to use the wipe tool and I’ve set up a custom wipe. However, I’m unable to use any type of keyframe in the wipe itself, so it’s out of sync with the smoothed animation I’m using. How could I resolve this?

Assuming the custom wipe is a luma file. you can use the Composition Type Composite instead of Wipe. Where it says Composite Method select Custom and select your luma file (must be of type .pgm!). Composite has keyframes with which you can control it more to your needs. You need to set the keyframes for the Opacity parameter
