Hello, I installed Kmymoney 5.2.1 via Flatpak. I am using Fedora 42 Cinnamon. I have been using Kmymoney for 12 years and have now encountered a problem. I would like to import my German bank (Comdirect) data into Kmymoney via Aqbanking 6.8.3.0. To do this, I went to settings and then configured Aqbanking by clicking on “Create User.” Everything works fine here to retrieve all the data from my bank in this Aqbanking setup. I can also see all my different bank accounts in the Aqbanking setup, but now the problem is that I can’t see my account details in my accounts. What can I do to solve this problem?
As I know is, you have to create bank accounts in KMyMoney manually (normally before using the Aqbanking module).
After then you have to configure Aqbanking (module) with the bank account informations to be able to access the accounts.
Then you have to connect an KMyMoney bank account with an Aqbanking account. At the moment I don’t know the english translation for “Konto zuordnen (account assinging?)”. With right mouse click on an bank account in KMyMoney the context menu will be openend. Here you should find the funtion “Konto zuordnen (account assigning)”.
I’m not sure if the Aqbanking module offers a “revers” way by downloading the bank account informations and with that information Aqbanking creates these specified KMyMoney banking accounts.
So, In my post I differ between an KMyMoney and an Aqbanking account.
Seems you are both dealing with the German translation of KMyMoney. The English term for “Konto zuordnen” is “Map account”. Just in case someone stumbles across this and is not so proficient in German.
BTW: that is exactly what needs to be done to get the online access.
