Hello! I am currently using KDE Plasma version 6.5.5. I also use the Advanced Audio Player widget/mini program in the control bar.
Problem is, this plays audio only via the internal audio/laptop speakers. I can switch it to play via the Bluetooth headphones.
In audio settings, it says, it is “plasmashell” application playing audio. But routing the audio away from the internal audio is not possible, even while other option are listed and selectable. The selection stays on internal audio.
Other applications, like Audacious, respect the audio settings and plays via Bluetooth when selected.
So the issue seems related somehow to plasmashell to me. Does anybody have a similar issue or an idea, what can be done about this? If I can provide more details, let me know.
Thank you!
Andreas
I don’t have problems.
When I the sound card of my headset G933, I listen audio by them in any program (i.e. Audacious, Avidemux, Steam, Firefox, Haruna, etc etc).
And when I select the sound card integrated in the mother board, I listen audio by speakers in any program too.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, all the desktop applications respect the audio routing settings also for me. The problem I have with the “Advanced Radio Player”, which is a little widget, that can be added to the control panel via “Add or Manage Widgets …”. Maybe you can also try this app and see what you get? When you change to “Applications” in the volume settings, you should see the app “plasmashell” playing.
Thank you,
Andreas
In my case is strange the behaviour.
I installed Advanced Radio Player and added the plasmoid (I prefer to use “widget” in Win) but…
The sound only goes to my headset. It doesn’t matter what I choose (G933 or Internal Audio) or if I stop the radio before choose Internal Audio.
In this case, I have the same issue as you (my headset are wireless, with the cable option).
In the bug tracker of KDE I found this bug with this issue:
My default output is the G933.

Ok, thanks for reporting this.
