i was wondering if its possible to capture the last region i selected in Spectacle using a keybind or a command?
i sometimes do labs in a Virtual machine and have to document my steps and i dislike having to recapture the last region . i prefer capturing the region i selected without having to open the selection overlay every time. is there a way to do this?

you can explore the command line options with spectacle --help but if my plasma 5 version is any indication, the region option will still bring up the overlay from the last time it was used.
if want to avoid the overlay then you will have to resort to one of the other capture methods and crop it later if you need to.
