Caveats about performance of legacy hardware on Plasma6 with Wayland on FreeBSD

I’m toying around with plasma6 on an legacy notebook “powered” by a core2duo and an mobile intel gpu on FreeBSD.

Plasma6 on xorg is very usable so far so I thought I give wayland a go. Speed wise it seems on par to xorg I think.

The caveat enabling features like the built in color profile (and to some extend also enabling night light on top) will have a very noticable speed impact and make e.g. window dragging extremely sluggish.

I thought for those who try to run plasma on older hardware even on Linux it might be worth a look if your performance is subpar.
