Is there an option for this?
I like them under what they replied too, not next in the thread.

The forum uses Discourse, as it’s not a ‘chat’ interface - so replies always appear in chronologitcal order with lightweight linking to the parent post.
That means it preserves the forum’s readability - and you can follow reply indicators.
This is far superior to reddit, where conversations get fragmented and much harder to follow.
I didn’t know i signed up for a Discord account, HHHmmmm ![]()
“the KDE Community Forums (the Forum), powered by the phpBB software”
I confused the discord messenger with Discourse forum software… My telephone spell checker took over.
I thought so. Privacy policy is still wrong either way.
Ok, I get it - Anarchist.
And that is why we like Linux, no ONE company to rule us.
(BTW, those are RULES in my avatar) ![]()
Yeah, no gods no masters lol.
However, there’s a paradox of no rules - and the Linux ecosystem might be decentralized and open, but it is far from being an anarchy, more a meritocracy with extremely clear hierarchies…
That includes benevolent dictators and many explicit rules…
Far be it for me to say, but symbols like yours bring a lot of heavy cultural baggage - abolishing all hierarchies.
It’s a bit like using a hammer and sickle to say ‘I like farming’. The symbol heavily overpowers your personal definition.
I much prefer the Reddit thread style so I’d like that too, but I don’t think there’s a setting for this in Discourse.
As a workaround I make heavy use of the quote feature.
Edit: actually I found perhaps a relevant plugin: Journal Plugin - Plugin - Discourse Meta
There’s always only two options. I would like a third option please.
