I would like to change the background color of the Gwenview overview window to make the file names easier to read. Is that possible?
My Gwenview runs under openSUSE Linux in the KDE Plasma Desktop.

my gwenview is 23.08.5
under configure, general tab, there is an option to select between dark gray and black….. seems to be the only two hard coded choices.
also, when i select black the dark grey background does not change…. i using the default breeze theme, in case that matters.
That dark whatever setting will only get you so far. In the screenshot, Gwenview’s being run in both a kvantum override AND a colorscheme added to ~/.config/gwenviewrc. To my knowledge, it’s the only way to do it.
I deleted this line in ~/.confi/gwenviewrc in the section [general]
BackgroundColorMode=DocumentView::Neutral
This change gives me white as background color. This makes it easier for me to read the file names.
