Hope this is OK.
Just for reference, a lot of my GNU/Linux journey in the past has been using ZorinOS which unfortunately only provides Gnome and xfce environments. I have argued more recently that they should offer Plasma as an alternative, so I created a video on how to remove the Zorin Desktop, parts of Gnome that can be removed without breaking the system and using gdm3 for purposes of login screen and also maintaining Evolution.
So I created this tutorial video. I don’t like the sound of my voice, so I use Creative Commons Licenced music from jamendo.com. Just hit the mute button if it gets too much.
Just to add my OS daily is systemd-free PCLOS Debian based on “bookworm” running Plasma 5.27.
