When trying to set up a VPN connection with my organization’s domain (which I will not disclose for privacy purposes, as its name leaks personal information) using the Cisco AnyConnect Compatible VPN, it prompts me for a username and password login, but despite entering the correct credentials, it will refresh the login, clearing the password field, but keeping the username box filled. I should note that when confirming my details to login, it does not show any 2FA popup, which would always show if I’m logging in from an unrecognized device. I’m on Manjaro Linux running KDE Plasma 6.6.5.
Hmm. What vpn client are you using? KDE System Settings might not be able to use cisco properly. Try installing the official cisco client.

I found a workaround by connecting to my VPN service via the terminal, which then gave me a link for a script that would install the client (which I’m assuming is the same one in the link you sent). Unfortunately, that didn’t end up working, because it relied on a deprecated dependency. I ended up just using this AUR package for the Cisco client. I’m a bit confused as to why this happened, or if it’s to do with 2FA or KDE’s System Settings being unable to handle Cisco.
