After update to Kubuntu 26.04 screen recording was introduced in Spectacle. If I press PrtScr I can see button “New Recording” in bottom panel, but when I click on it nothing happens.
There is nothing suspicious in STDOUT.
Are you on X11? Spectacle Screen Recording is only available for wayland, but for some reason no one’s got around to hiding the UI elements on a X11 session
