Clicking the top of a Chromium window unmaximises it

When I click the very top of the title bar of a Chromium window (happens in Chrome and Brave), it annoyingly unmaximises the window, similar to what happens when you double click the title bar.

“Double-click” is set to “Do nothing” in Window Behaviour → Double-click. I notice that when I turn off the setting in the image attached (found in Screen Edges), this bug no longer occurs. But I use this maximising feature, so it’s not a solution. Using the system title bar also solves it, but I don’t want to use the system title bar.

This doesn’t seem to happen in any other program. Is there a workaround anybody knows of?

Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.2.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.9.0
Qt Version: 6.8.1
Kernel Version: 6.12.7-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 24 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700KF

If you’re using a native Chromium window, it is not going to follow any other rule but it’s own…

The only solution to avoid this behaviour is to use the plasma titlebar.

Indeed. This is in fact a Chromium bug.
