Clip Monitor automatically opening when clicking in Project Bin

A default behaviour seems to have changed as of late (My first encounter being today though it has been a few weeks since I have last used Kdenlive) - When clicking anywhere in the Project Bin window, Clip Monitor automatically opens, and continues to re-open every single time I left click if I close it.
I am using version 25.12.0-5.1 on CachyOS from their repository, and only wish to change this one behaviour. If any other information is needed I will respond ASAP. Thank you, and Happy New Year!

I’m on Ubuntu Studio and I’ve encountered this weird behavior as well.

In the past, clicking in the blank space would simply de-select any item I had selected. Now it does that but also opens up the Clip Monitor. Sometimes my trackball will release my click when I intend to click-and-drag. So I’m opening this other window all the time now, by accident, when I meant to drag something onto the Arrangement instead.

I’m trying to adapt to the new behavior but, Is there a way to change this back to how it was?
I can’t seem to find any settings for the Project Bin that modify any behavior, only modifying how the items in the bin appear.

The Clip Monitor has started popping up when I drag-and-drop video files to the Project Bin, it pops up behind the Transcode dialog as my videos are raw from a Quest 3 and are variable bitrate.

Why would the Clip Monitor pop up Before my videos are “Edit Ready?” (i.e. not variable bitrate) and Why is it popping up as I add a batch of videos to a New Project?

This really can’t be intended behavior. (no other editors I’ve used do this)
