Clipboard manager shortcut to show up at the taskbar

I am not sure which release introduce this, but I do not like the current clipboard manager behaviour. To be specific, when you invoke the clipboard’s history it now appears at the mouse point. The previous behaviour was the history appeared at the taskbar instead.

I don’t know why ‘show at taskbar’ was replaced with ‘show at mouse point’ but I would very much like to have the option to show the clipboard history at the taskbar.

My clipboard history can get fairly big and having it point and cover a lot of the screen is not ideal. With it being at a taskbar it’s a lot less cluttered.

Just to clarify what I mean by ‘show at taskbar’ - I want the same behaviour as if the clipboard icon is clicked, but with the shortcut. I am not asking to revert the change, as I can see benefits of the history appear at the mouse point.

you need to go into they system tray configuration and set a shortcut for the clipboard entry

I had it set as Meta+V but the function has been replaced with ‘Show Clipboard Items at Mouse Position`.

wrong shortcut… i’m assuming you want this by your description

This is exactly it! It’s strange that the way I had it setup was through the clipboard app itself and it worked the same.

At least that option is still there, a sigh of relief!
