Could someone explain this to me?

I have tried asking on a few platforms and have had limited responses so I thought I would try to ask again, in other words, because I am genuinely just curious. Here is the scenario.

Add HD 1080P 59.94 FPS video to timeline

Cut and discard end at 02:49,21

Verify duration of 02:49,21 and end point at 02:49,21

Move video forward 00:03,00 (In other words, add a 3 second black color clip to the beginning)

End point now showing 02:52,22 but same duration of 02:49,21

???

Why do I get that added 00:00,01? It only does it with this video. Other 4K UHD 59.94 FPS videos do not do this.

Is this just a matter of the software interpreting a video that is not an even 60 FPS. Can I just ignore it? Everything looks fine. The duration of the clip stays the same. It is just that the end point increase by 00:00,01.

Here are the images showing what happens.

Including this one.

Why would you think that simply reposting it again a couple of days later with an even vaguer title would result in something your original post did not?

Usually articulating something in an, even somewhat, different way with screenshots is helpful. It generally is, anyway, in my experience. My vague title was natural though. About as vague as your response in my other post. Sigh. I will look somewhere else.
