Ctrl+ E open a new session

i’m using kde plasma
when i click: ctrl+e the dolphin opens a new session while a need it to open the current one, how to set this?

I think you meant shortcut Meta+E (or you changed the shortcut).

FWIW, if you’re using a panel/task manager with pinned items, you can use a pinned Dolphin icon to achieve the same thing.

In my case, Dolphin is the fourth icon in my pinned task manager items, so I press Meta+4 - if it’s not already launched, it will launch, and if it is already open, then it’s switched to that as the active window. You could even reassign the keyboard shortcut for that place on your task manager to Meta+E if you want to keep the same muscle memory.
