Custom accent colour not applying to certain items

Hiya. So I changed my accent colour within colours and themes in settings within KDE and it’s been great. However I updated my system a while back and my custom colours wouldn’t apply to the start menu, Dolphin icon in the taskbar, folders on the desktop and anything I have highlighted on the desktop. It went back to the default light green accent colour.
Originally I thought this was a bug within KDE however its been a few months now, with updates to KDE and its still not applying the custom colour accent to the list above, even if I change the colour again

Any help would be appreciated :))

Currently running latest Manjaro and KDE on my Zephrys G14 with a 3060 mobile on Wayland (using the open nvidia driver) of that makes a difference.

Are you using the default plasma theme?

Does that one adapt to the color scheme?

Edit: I checked for you. It contains a color file so no, it won’t adapt the custom colors.

If you want to keep the breathe dark overall colors but not the selection, you could take out the color file from the plasma theme. As such, it’ll become “adaptive”.

Keep in mind though. The theme still has it’s own panel background svg.
