Default clipboard doesn't paste in KDE 6 in Kali Linux

I tried pasting using, the default clipboard, but it didn’t work.

I installed CopyQ and tried with it, but had the same issue.

With both clipboard managers, content enters the history, but I can’t paste it.

I tired pressing Ctrl+V after selecting an entry from the history as some people suggested on Reddit, but I was back at square one.

Do you have any suggestions why this is happening and how to resolve it?
