Maybe “woes” is too strong a word. The notification system is pretty good. It’s tightly integrated, which is a feature I don’t want to miss by simply switching to a different provider like dunst or mako.
But I sorely miss a few configuration options.
One is for icons:
Configure their size or disable them completely or fall back to not show any if the app provides something invalid, or at the very least provide a better fallback than unknown:
Is there anything that can be done about this?
Another is to have a little more influence on positioning, e.g. x,y offset in addition to screen corner positioning.
But just the icon thing %?¤/&* me off currently. Which is not KDE’s fault, just in case someone might interpret it that way.
