I am trying to disable a device from auto-mounting, and when I check in System Settings the entire section is empty and not clickable. I do have multiple devices plugged in that should show up in this section. I haven’t seen a config file that may change this behavior so that I can enable the devices, or if it’s a permission thing.
What is your distribution ?
Garuda, based on Arch
Hello all!
I can confirm having the exact same problem in KDE 6.3.6, Debian 13, post fresh-install with access to online repository during the process, no configuration tweaks.
Hi all,
I’m experiencing a similar issue (trying to auto-mount an SD card I use a lot), even with the disk mounted and correctly visible and usable in e.g. Dolphin etc. the Device Auto-Mount dialog is not populated as the OP reported.
I am on CachyOS (Arch-based) with the versions reported below. This worked up to about 1 month ago.
Operating System: CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.21.0
Qt Version: 6.10.1
Kernel Version: 6.18.3-2-cachyos (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11
