dictee is a push-to-talk voice dictation tool for Linux. Press a shortcut, speak, release — text is typed instantly. Everything runs locally, no cloud needed.

Fantastic, I’ve been looking for something like this.

I hope this works for you. As for my own testing, it has only been on my machine, so I hope that if you use it, you’ll let me know if it works for you.
