Difference between [configure special window settings] and [confidure special application settings]

I understand that the 1st is for a concrete window in the application and the 2nd for all the application (and all his windows).

perhaps it would be more clear if the menus said:

  • Configure Current Window Settings…

  • Configure Application Window Settings…
