I have been using digikam 8.9.0 for a while and recently installed 9.0.0. When I launch it, it immediately fails with a splash screen saying “An error occurred during internal server start.
Details:
Executable: C:/Program Files/MariaDB 11.8.0/bin/mariadb-upgrade.exe
Arguments: –port=3307
Process Error: Process operation timed out
Please check the database settings in this dialog
This is followed by the current database settings, which are what digikam 8.8.0 used.
Is this a bug in digikam, or have I missed something that I should have done before instaling 9.0.0?
9.0.0 does work with SQLite, so this is not a showstopper.
