The below wiki article has instructions that appear to assume Plasma 6 (e.g. shortcuts are under “Keyboard” in system settings on 6, but not 5). With Plasma 5.24, if I register any shortcut for the application launcher on Plasma 5, then meta will also trigger it. Is there any way to configure this on Plasma 5?
back before they patched it for 5.27 i think you could have a non-META shortcut and that would keep the META key from activating it.
but that might be patched out for 5.25 now too.
on 5.27 i no longer need to have any shortcut assigned to either the application menu or the application launcher for them to be launched using just the META key.
