It would be nice to have the possibility to disable(/enable) effects for all the clips placed on a single track.
A right click on the related track would be a good place for the functionality:
The granularity should be at least per effect category (possibly with a sub-menu accessing a single effect?).
This would simplify the workflow when some effects are heavily affecting the rendering in the project monitor (color grading…). Instead of having to select all the effects one by one for all the clips in the track, a single action would restore the project monitor fluidity!

I like the idea, but do other editors think the same? Would that be a valuable feature to implement given the roadmap and with the scarce resources we have?
You can do that already to a certain degree:
- Select all the clips in that track using the lasso (Shift+drag)
- Click on one effect that has the effect(s) you want to disable
- In the effect stack click on the chain icon:
- Switch off individual effects in the stack by clicking on the eye icon
