I use the Applications Menu rather than the Dashboard and/or Launcher. When you click the Distro/KDE menu icon, the first level of the menu is opaque. But when you mouse over a section you wish to navigate, say like Office or Multimedia, the sub-menu that holds office and multimedia applications has a degree of translucency. This is highly annoying (as I can see through the menu to whatever is underneath it causing overlapping text a lot of the time from menu items and whatever is behind the menu on screen) and I can’t seem to find a way to disable it.
Hi - for what it’s worth, that issue has been reported through the KDE Bugtracking System: 481595 – Submenus are transparent for no reason
