disabling middle click to close window in window present view

Using cachyos I have accidentally closed windows quite a few times in window present view by accidentally middle clicking on the touchpad on my laptop, is there a way of disabling the middle-click-to-close behavior in plasma window present? I understand that it might be a useful action for somebody using a mouse, but almost all the middle click actions are quite frustrating when accidentally triggered which I find I tend to do a lot with a touchpad

I think that you are searching this:

Unfortunately not, I already have them disabled. I am not able to close the windows by middle clicking when in the normal desktop mode, but when I am in the view where you see all the windows(like macos exposé) I am able to close with middle click:

i’m on plasma 5 and none of the overall views respond at all to middle click.

i tried it in all three forms: overview, present and grid

in plasma 6 i think you only get overview and grid (not sure)

but you can go to settings > window > desktop effects > window management

there you can configure items within each mode but i don’t see anything about middle mouse in my settings.

in settings > window behavior there are actions for middle click but nothing to do with the overview mode

if you right click on the desktop and choose desktop and folders settings there is a mouse tab where you can add/del an action for mouse buttons.

I disabled overview in window-management→desktop-effects→window-management, so now it will not appear at all. It is at least a temporary fix
