i don’t get it why discover require fwupd
It is not required, you can remove fwupd (it is an optional dependency) and discover won’t bug you about it again. But since fwupd is available, it tries to do firmware updating via fwupd, which is why you get that error when there is something wrong with fwupd’s daemon.
I think you can disable fwupd as a source completely in Discover by unselecting whatever is checked in “Firmware updates” in discover’s settings page:
