Hello, i recently switched from windows to fedora since each update is making windows worse. i updated everything and then when i tried to install apps from kde discover it stays stuck at waiting. if anyone know about how to fix this bug please tell me
is it happening only with discord? how are you downloading this?(maybe snap, flatpak)

Is there a chance that you are currently in Russia or like similar country? I couldn’t update a couple of things until I used vpn.
Besides, can you update apps via terminal without discover? Or is this a local problem ONLY with discover?
You can also try launching discover through the terminal:
plasma-discover
Are there any errors or smth like that?
I also could guess that discover can’t see some repos for some reason idk? You can double-check them in the settings.
Perhaps some really simple solutions might help you too. Try reinstalling discover and reconnecting the repositories If you haven’t done it yet.
sudo dnf remove plasma-discover
sudo dnf install plasma-discover
OR it could be possible that updates are downloading, but they’re taking a long time. I’ve had it happen a couple of times where the download would stall for 10 minutes, but eventually everything downloaded.
Honestly i tried reinstalling the distro it worked fine untile i installed the nvidia drivers. it just stops working after nvidia drivers. i also tried uninstalling and installing discover
I use fedora and proprietary drivers from nvidia as well, so I don’t think this is the main problem?
Could you please run discover via terminal? Guess it’s a good thing to find what cause this first
