This dialog keeps irritating me:
What is that file, and how can I get rid of the complaining dialog?
It happens with Discover 5.27.4, KDE FW 5.105.0, xcb windowing, Qt 5.15.9, on Manjaro.

Since the display manager seemed to matter in that thread, perhaps try with a different one and see if it still happens? If so, it might be a reoccurrence of this bug?
It vanished since 6 months ago. KDE is self-healing.
