Display fails to wakeup after screen locking:

Hi, after locking the machines DE sometimes the left display fails to wakeup when attempting to unlock. I must unplug then plug the display back in to achieve a signal. I initially had some succes (I thought) with moving the mouse across both displays before leaving the machine locked but it does not help really.

This message appears in the journal, is it relevant here? :< kscreenlocker_greet[385335]: Could not create EGL surface (EGL error 0x3000)

Do I add QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1 to /etc/environment? In order to debug this problem?

I am not certain what to do with this. I recently replaced the mini DP to DVI cable with a mini DP to DP cable and this behavior began.

I have some news to share with you. It’s a NEC EA294WMi using RX640 GPU with mini-DP to DP (on monitor side). Turning DDC/CI back off at the display OSD menu (1-28-26). 1-31-26 and the display seems to be waking up consistently without having power to be unplugged/plugged as of now.
