Distorted hamburger submenus

Some hamburger submenus appear distorted like this – often much larger. It happens every time I open the menu, but it’s not always the same submenus. The problem fixes itself if I move to another submenu and back. After a problem submenu has been drawn correctly once, it will always be drawn correctly until I close and re-open the hamburger menu. Is this a known issue?

Very interesting. I don’t have exactly this issue, but I sometimes get similar distortion when I mouse over certain panel widgets (the Application Launcher, and the open application icons in the Icons-Only Task Manager). See screenshots below.

Also interestingly, my system info doesn’t have much in common with yours. I had assumed it was probably an Nvidia issue, but from seeing your issue with Intel iGPU, now I’m not so sure.

Our problem is actually common among Nvidia users!

This issue (Tooltip rendering issues when rapidly switching between panel icons) looks very similar to the one reported in https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495073

It does indeed. Thanks for the link!

I added my report above to the bug report on https://bugs.kde.org
