This is probably not technically a bug, but it is a security issue so I am putting it here.
When I use the “Open as Administrator” option in dolphin, after signing in, click “finish” then go back a page, it enters administrator mode immediately without confirmation.
hi, welcome.
not entirely sure what you mean.
when you open a folder in a tab as admin, it changes the path statement to show that you are in admin mode
admin:///usr/sbin
while you have that tab open you can navigate to any folder as admin and have root access (so be careful).
if you close that tab and then use the back navigation arrow, it will take you back to the tab you had open and the path will still show as admin://, is that what you mean?
as long is it says you are in admin:// you need to be aware of that and ensure that you don’t do anything foolish like rename the root directory … with great power comes great responsibility.
